HIFU(High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) equipment can treat a precise area with pinpoint accuracy based on the similar p rinciple of burning a spot of black paper using magnifying glass without harming the surrounding area.

The electrical energy matched with impedance inside ULCHE is transmitted to the transducer in the cartridge and converted to ultrasonic energy. After it reach to the SMAS layer which is between the muscle layer and the subcutaneous fat layer, its thermal energy promotes collagen and makes the SMAS coagulation as well. Through this process we can lift a nd tighten the skin.
 
 
HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound)

Treatment  principle is that thermal heat of 65~100 ℃ by making a single focal point with high ultrasonic energy is used to burn the tissue. 
When concentrating about 100 thousand times more intense ultrasound wave than the intensity of ultrasound wave for diagnosis, 
the focal point produces heat like using a convex lens for collecting sun-light for heat. 
Treatment principle of HIFU and magnifier function is alike. 
Ultrasound wave itself is not harmful to body and only focal point produces heat  that it is possible to treat the lesions without using knife or needle to body under general anesthesia.
